During the training, Firefighter Lane Cook played the role of a “victim” in an unfortunate grain entrapment scenario. Training Officers Morris Altice and Daniel Justice proceeded with the team with a rescue using a 6-piece aluminum, 30-inch KC Grain Bin Rescue Tube. Once the tube was in place around the submerged patient, a small safety auger was used to carefully remove the grain and complete the rescue.
Training like this is crucial for ensuring we’re prepared for real-life emergencies. Thank you to everyone who made this opportunity possible!
